The Restoration of the Priesthood

                       

Why do Mormons call each other “brother” or “sister?" Mormons believe we are literal spirit children of a Heavenly Father, and are therefore brothers and sisters through Christ.

                                

Mormons believe life doesn’t begin at birth, nor does it end at death; rather, we were individual spirits before this life, and will continue on after the death of our physical bodies. This comforting knowledge is part of the amazing promise of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What does the "Restoration" mean to Mormons? The Restoration refers to the return of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth—the foundation of our faith—and the power from that faith to bless all of God’s children.
